Waiting for Godot

While a weary world anxiously awaits day twelve of Gheorghemas, I had one additional book recommendation.

After a December of scenes like this, a little healthy living might be in order.

georgia’s gonna beat the brakes off fsu, no?

Probably. FSU is no Liberty.

you hate to see good things happen for clemson

My daughters definitely hate it.

is missouri’s offense being coordinated by a fifth-grader who hates running the ball?

Are you smarter than a fifth grader?

Ohio State and Florida State demonstrated that third-string QBs aren't a seamless transition in postseason, no matter how many 5-star kids on the roster. Cardale Jones ain't walking thru that door.

Seeing Rebirth Brass Band in DC tonight. Tickets are still available for anyone interested.

Trombone Shorty is playing at the Dr. Phillips Center in downtown Orlando tonight. Wife and we’re hoping to go but parenting got in the way.

i didn't have maryland boatracing auburn with their backup qb, but i support it.

Tuning in to the Toledo Wyoming game. Who would have guessed?

Maybe the selection committee rightly decided against including FSU in the playoffs.

or they wrongly kept georgia out

RIP Cale Yarborough

Also, a heads up, my bad habits make getting Gmas finished today look unlikely. My apologies.

I’ve had a pretty bad cold for most of the week. Finally starting to feel somewhat close to normal. Of course, my wife woke up today feeling like shit. Not a very good birthday present for her.

ravens have had a couple of big boy weeks in a row

Ravens look good and Lamar has to be the favorite for MVP, he's the only star on that offense yet they are close to leading the league in points scored. I think their win last week against SF was more impressive than this week--Miami beat one team with a winning record, and that was on a last second FG against Dallas. This means, of course, that Miami will beat the pants off the Bills next week.

Baltimore has been really impressive lately. They’ve lost some significant contributors on offense and just keep humming. Lamar has to be the MVP.

Wife rallied for a nice dinner with some friends at a local Lebanese spot. We were gonna meet them and some others down at the beach for a bonfire but the cops shut that shit down before it ever started. Not mad at all. My couch is a far better option.
