A GTB #TBT: In Abe We Trust
As Whitney chronicled the other day, his long, strange trip as President Abraham "Vampire Hunter" Lincoln comes to a close this weekend (hopefully with a whimper and not a bang). It seemed we were in need of some filler (as compelling as TR's what coulda been goth tales are), so I went the Throwback Thursday route and am pasting below Abe at his most Presidential, walking Maple (RIPug) during the weekend he stayed at our unofficial Lincoln bedroom for the big parade.

Big 3-0 win for my baseball team over the higher-flighted travel team in my town. My kid started and pitched 3 scoreless innings w/ 6 Ks and a pop out catch he turned into a double play. Season sweep over that team. And a few months of bragging rights.

got as close to be a rock star tonight as possible (for me). played some song parodies to a screaming crowd of 900 students with the faculty follies house band. i can see why fleetwood mac is going back on tour. i got to do a guitar solo and everything. i'll put some video up tomorrow . . .
Golden State has underwhelmed with their late game poise and execution these last two games.
Chris Paul was a beast late in the game. I really hope he’s not seriously injured. Houston can’t win without him and he deserves a shot at the Finals with the way he’s played of late.
