Anyone else go to sleep at midnight on a cot on the floor of a 75 year old aircraft carrier surrounded by several hundred Cub scouts and their snoring parents only to be awakened at 6:15 (which is really 5:15) with bright lights and a PA announcer urging you to GTFO by 8:00?

Freaking perfect day here in North Florida. Neutralized the aforementioned hangover with a swim...there really is no better way to rid thyself of the cobwebs imo. The egg is locked and cocked with some Costco ribs, and for the first time in a long while I couldn’t be more excited to watch a non-major golf event. Innisbrook is coincidentally a very hot lead for us at the moment....should get a yay or nay from them in a week. I believe strongly that the impact Tigger is having on viewership and thus property exposure, ticket sales (they tripled after Tiger’s announcement) food, rooms etc moves the needle to our side of the ledger. We shall never see an influencer like Tiger in our lifetimes, so don’t take it for granted. Watch.
To close the message trio, let me tell you how excited I am about this week. I am assuming my wife will keep her 8 year streak alive and not read gtb today or this week. We head to baha mar on Wed for what she thinks is a work slash fun trip for she and I. Four other couples from our NC days will beat us there and surprise Val a little early for her 40th next month. Baha Mar is dope, with a casino and....wait for it....waaaaait for iiiiit......a sports book! It didn’t even hit me that we will be there for the start of the ncaa’s until last week.
My wife is totally clueless. Who has two thumbs and is WINNING?! This mother fucker right here people! I think I’m gonna go get some more jai alai’s.
Jesus. Danimal just dunked on all of us. My Jai Alai consumption has been reduced due to an unexpected dinner at my sisters house that I couldn’t really say no to. It also took out taco night so I’m a little salty about all that right now. I did have an extra drink at lunch to make up for it though.
I didn’t swim but got a good lift and run in to neutralize my hangover as well. Exercise sucks when you’re hungover but is the best cure.
I really need to get to Baha Mar. And I’m rooting for Danimal to close that deal at Innisbrook. Largely so I can hit him up for some hookups.
i'm 50/50 on spending the rest of the day on my couch because i'm exhausted and trying to get a run in because i need it. might be more like 95/5.

Naked And Afraid marathon AND Chasing Classic Cars marathon. Fuck exercise.
We just got power back. 110 hours w/o it. But on the flip side, I bought an 18” chainsaw, figured out how to load fuel/oil into it, and then chainsawed the fuck out of the massive limb debris in my back yard. I got way too aggressive sizing lumber trunks and had a hard time carrying them. Will need to trim them further.
I felt like Rocky’s Russia training montage the last two days, hauling debris to the front of my yard. That was my Cross Fit. Laying on the couch in front of the fireplace now, resting my cranky back and enjoying a keto-friendly glass of Pinot Grigio. Just need a bird from El Tigre.

i ran today despite jai alai hangover. first time i've been able to run in a while because of my ligament strain, so i was quite enthused. most of the running was done through snow. no swimming at all.
This just got a lot more fun.
