If you have been following along in the comments the last few days you've noticed that the Zman is having a great deal of difficulty with a certain shit cable company whose name starts with "Time" and ends with "Warner". Here's why said cable guy can't show up at the Zman's house:

Zman - There is a TWC store on 23rd street just off Park. You can get a new cable box there.
Thanks. I'll fill the one I have now with cat poop before I return it.
I always thought Cable Guy was an under-rated comedy that was too dark to be a mainstream hit. Carrey was great in it.
Go Neti! I was a little disappointed last week when I ended up with Switzerland in the World Cup office pool, but today I'm pretty psyched about it!
the cable guy was my favorite jim carrey movie before eternal sunshine-- i think i need to watch it again . . .
i can't decide how i feel about switzerland beating spain. i don't really want to take sides.
That's very Swiss of you.
Eternal Sunshine was a great movie but I can't watch it again, it's too sad.
So the Swiss celebrated by....doing nothing?
they're getting hopped up on cocoa as we speak....
Swatches for all!
perkins out game 7 for the celtics. enjoy the parade, kobe.
Time to suit up Veal Scalabrine.
note to the hill staffer in the suit riding the metro next to me this afternoon: you probably shouldn't play your ipod so loud if you're rocking miley cyrus' 'party in the usa'.
holy shit-- swatch stands for "swiss watch"!
the eighties finally make sense to me.
Rob - that is absolutely terrible advice. Rock on to Ms. Cyrus, young staffer. Rock on.
Noddin' my head like 'yeah'. Movin' my hips like 'yeah'.
Good to see that capital hill staffers are burning the midnight oil down there...thank God we don't have any problems in this country that need to be worked on.
Anybody else catch the 30 for 30 on the OJ Chase and 6/17/94? Pretty disappointing, all in all. They had some cool stuff I hadn't seen/heard yet (hearing Costas talk to producers off air when reporting from MSG, seeing confused newscasters try to relay events, hearing OJ talk to police when in the Bronco), but it seemed like the director was really stretching to get to 60 minutes. He presented the whole segment without interviews and just focused on actual footage, but had to stretch a lot of stuff.
A couple good interviews (Costas, Brokaw, Marv Albert, LAPD staff) would've been much more helpful than the extended footage of Arnold Palmer crying.
It's still very interesting, but I found it merely whelming. Not remotely overwhelming.
I refused to watch it...if you want to know about the Juice, just call me sometime
i just never understood why he was running. he was obviously innocent.
us open today - look for erick justeson, former co-worker.
I think he was also a character in "Fargo".
The Cable Guy - definitely underrated. But creepy.
Eternal Sunshine - worth watching again, Zman, there is optimism in that ending. Fantastic film.
Run, Juice, Run: The Complete OJ Bronco Story As Retold in Interviews with TJ - the very best. Do not miss it.
The best part of RJR: TCOJBSARIIWTJ was when the protagonist bought circus tickets from the elderly lady in an Eric Moulds jersey.
Don't forget about the circus peanut diorama OJ had in his car.
The one he made for "Diorama-rama"
I'm at a Greek diner on LI. All the Greeks in the house sang along with the Greek national anthem and the are pumped for this match. No one is playing with their vuvuzela though.
i wonder if the players had to pay their own way
I asked the Greek lady next to me if the players paid their own way or if they walked. She didn't think I'm funny.
That killed the mood in here.
are they throwing their souvlaki in disgust?
Tzetziki sauce everywhere.
I threw my souvlaki last night. The wife almost caught me.
G:TB mini Summit in 6 hours...Shlara, we'll be at Bungalow in Shirlington if you want to meet Mark in person. He is scary looking though.
