Right on cue in support of G:TB12DOG, 5'6", 142-pound Manny Pacquiao hammered the taller and heavier Oscar De La Hoya Saturday night, closing the book on the Golden Boy's career, and striking more than a metaphorical blow for the little guy. Coming just weeks after Dustin Pedroia was named the American League MVP, I'm here to tell you that the Pacquiao victory portends a seismic shift in height relations. No longer will the average-heighted walk blithely through this world. We're coming for the tall next.And Randy Newman'll never see it coming. Mostly because he'll be looking over our heads. A bunch of guys in the picture below better watch out, too.

We went 2-3 during Thanksgiving Week and 3-2 this week.
The House picked ten games this week to catch up and went 5-5.
So the standings entering Week 15 look like this...
Wheelhouse: 37-32-1
Gheorghe: 39-31
1.5 games up with 15 left to pick. I believe that puts our magic number at 14.

I'm kind of pumped for this Nova-Texas game. Just so many good guards involved. The Reynolds-Abrams matchup will be fun to watch for sure, but the Justin Mason-Corey Fisher matchup should be pretty good too.
