As of the moment this post hits the pixelverse, I am no longer among the employed. The rest of you, keep on:

  1. I don’t work on Fridays, so I’m with you, brother. Cheers. Welcome to unemployment.

  2. Just to swerve back into the serious and non-happy hour lane for a second, a message to Kyrie Irving: If the racist scum who have reared their ugly heads in your world before now ever paraphrased you and said, “I cannot be racist if I know where I come from,” you might punch them in the face. And be justified.

  3. kyrie is a deeply unserious (as in, uninformed and dilettanty - totally a word) dude playing at being serious and getting attention because of who he is and what he does. shit's dangerous. bomani jones and vince goodwill had a good podcast on the subject on wednesday.

  4. speaking of unserious, elon musk is really about to set a good portion of $44m on fire, isn't he?

  7. QB Julian Sayin has committed to Alabama.

So… of the QB’s that were on Alabama’s recruit list, whom have they landed???

    Just Sayin.

  8. The Indialantic Force had their undefeated season come to an end today. Our girls came out utterly asleep to start the game and found themselves down 4-1 at the half. The keeper (my daughter) missed part of the first half after banging her head on the post diving for a save. We came back in the second half but ultimately fell short at 4-3. A win next weekend still takes the league championship. Hopefully just a lesson about showing up for each game no matter the opponent.

  13. Just came from the gf’s parental palace where allegiances were at war. Half the family UT, half UGA. I got to clam agnostic as a USC fan and watch the fireworks.

Also, with an upcoming trip to Columbia to watch Tennessee decimate the Cocks, nice to see them make mistakes.

  17. I’m finally relaxing after an intense period of preparing for the clandestine arrival of my wife’s family for her 50th. We managed to pull the surprise off completely.

Having recently had renters move out of our ‘Gifthouse’ made it much easier. That our tenants were apparently unaware of basic home hygiene standards made it harder.

I finished cleaning and making beds for everyone last night about 11:58; they all arrived at 12:02 this morning. I need a two day nap.
