I've already bored you in the comments about my evening out with my kid at a concert, so I won't do that again. But she asked me if we could go to more shows, which is a ginormous win in the dadding category. And we're in desperate need of new material, so here's some Jake Shimabukuro playing Ed Sheeran and tying several recent G:TB discussions together to tide us over.

just changed out a toilet seat, 'cause i'm a man. i'm 48.
Did you get one with a washlet?
you fancy, z
i'm less thrilled about how hard it seems to be connect my new vizio soundbar to my new television. i get it working for about five minutes, and then the sound cuts out. something's about to get thrown through a wall.
danimal - did you know bernie dombrowski in college?
I’m not fancy, you’re dirty.
turns out the soundbar is defective, which i learned after an hour on the phone with vizio support. that was a fun use of a saturday afternoon.
when did Denver become hipster as fuck?
When weed was legalized would be my guess, TJ.
I’d also be interested to know what qualifies as hipster to TJ. I don’t consider myself a hipster in any way, shape or form but I have a beard, am heavily tattooed, often wear relatively skinny jeans and own a ton of Vans. Hopefully I’m still allowed to crash at TJ’s place...
I don’t wear framed glasses (or any glasses) though so I’ve got that going for me.
the dirty secret here, mark, is that teejay is a hipster
also, hello gheorgies
This checks out. TJ wears framed glasses, has a beard and frequently buys fancy socks. Pretty hipstery.
Hi Rob. Which, by the way, is The ultimate Hi Gheorghies because this shit has long gone dormant without him.
Hi Gheorghies! I guess this is cheating b/c I got up at 3. Have a 5 AM fight to Denver. Playing in a charity golf event. Always a fun event, but waking up at 3 AM is kinda stupid.
Teej - Denver has the weed thing, and it also has had a sneaky tech boom over the last twenty years. That boom is continuing, given cos are eschewing Silicon Valley for more affordable towns like Portland and Denver. Town is exploding and folks are botching about cost of living.
If you’re looking for a fun meal near downtown, try Steuben’s. Great food and eclectic vibe. How long you staying there?
Rob, late to the party, or early. I did not know Bernie. Is he related to Dave of MLB fame?
TR -where ya playin?
Arrowhead Golf Course in Littlleton. It’s a top 50 public course. Red rock faces, mountains, etc. In the glory days of the conference, they would trot out a couple Broncos cheerleaders. They seemed nice.
Hipster city qualities https://www.thrillist.com/travel/nation/hipster-cliches-how-to-spot-a-hipster-neighborhood
Teej is arguably a hipster. More borderline. Has a job. Has a house. We actually got married.
Mark, you’re good in my book
And yes, I probably look like a hipster
I was referring more to the annoying personality/swagger of the hipster set, such as the hipster geologist at the bar last night that Jess wanted to punch in the face
true. teej has hipster style with normie tendencies. and i wouldn't want to get on jess's bad side. that doesn't seem like a good place to live.
Excellent drop-in by Jessica. Nice to have you stop by.
At Tortuga’s for a late lunch. I think this makes double-digits for me for the summer being here. For the faithful, I have started getting the steamed veggies and shrimp platter. It’s worthy.
Oh, there’s plenty to put Teej in hipster category: wears Toms to work w/funky socks, beard, glasses, no plain t-shirts, loves his photography classes, social media as a job, alter ego of McFisty videos w plots, cats instead of kids, reverse parenting as a trend, loves yard sales and records. Just cultural norms seem to outweigh window trapping?
My bacon socks, Goonies tshirt, and Frontier Sports of Marcell, MN trucker hat are gonna have me fitting right in
McFisty - one’s mind can go to a dark place in a hurry when hearing that name.
Or one's fist.
