Not surprising that Simmons was was cancelled. As Shlara said, it was...not good.
HBO needs to have him revamp the HBO sports documentary franchise. He's good to great at that. He is not a dynamic enough personality for TV.
Sat 11/12 is my birthday and I put out a soft request. Not optimistic. The week after I went for the only time, the guy who played Harry Crane in Mad Men got the invite.
And yes, Chappelle will host.

I saw those! Super cool. There is a time warp element in the buildings' architecture. I kept looking for the photo of Hyman Roth and Michael Corleone.
So, I googled the phrase "what are you looking at Dick nose" to show Stylez' shirt to my wife for some reason earlier tonight. When I searched the image results, I saw a photo of Gheorghe. I clicked on that and it took me to a G:TB post on Teenwolf. Neat, huh?

There are bars, pubs and "clubs/discos" in Cuba--they make rum there (Havana Club) and there were plenty of places to drink in Havana. The popular beer there is Cirstal, which people seem to like. Lots of mixed drinks with "vitamin R" (mojitoss, daiquiries cuba libres)

Huge game for Florida in Fayetteville today. I'm feeling less than confident. For years, the random SEC West road game has been a stumbling block for even the best Gator teams.
This, I think, is a good team. Certainly not great. Defense has to carry the day, IMO, and the last time Florida faced a competent offense they got their doors blown off in the second half against Tennessee. A win would come close to locking up the SEC East for Florida. A loss makes 3 losses in November a distinct possibility. Like I said, huge.

One of the benefits of living in the northeast is the abundance of ethnic food stores, like German butchers and Italian bakeries. The drawbacks include living in northeastern weather among northeasterners.
