This is a fantastic post. Love the old Carson clips. Great counterbalance to the amount of faux solemn fuckery going on today in remembrance of what took place 25 years ago. 99% of this sentimental bullshit can fuck right off.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I’m sadder than I thought I’d be, but we lost real friends in a real tragedy that has nothing to do with flag-waving and other crap. Clare Ludvigsen texted me this AM with a silly picture of her and her brother in the Pi Lam pit being silly with me in the background. Followed by a broken heart emoji. That’s real love and that’s real. I dispense with the “faux solemn fuckery” and say watch the Carson clips. Cheers.

ReplyDeleteI did notice Garry was the only one who did not get the "come on over" directive from Johnny. Still worked out alright for him though. If anyone here has never watched the Garry Shandling Show, you've missed out.
