    There a bunch of good 'indie' record labels out there. Polyvinyl, I think is one. It has a bunch of good and varied acts like of Montreal, Japandroids, Deerhoof, STRFKR, American Football and bunch of other bands you've probably never heard of before.

    Squeaky, why are you telling us this?

    Well, they just put all of their past samplers online for your listening and downloading pleasure. If you want to explorer some 'indie' rock, it's not a bad place to hear some decent music. And it's all free.

    There is definitely some random music from Polyvinyl but most of it is close to mainstream type music. Alas, no Random Idiots, though.

    As a nice little bonus if you ever order from them they always include Airheads taffy in every package.
