Solutions

I've had a nagging professional problem on my mind for the past several weeks. As is often the case, I've followed the advice of a college friend and ignored the issue. Today, through no action of my own, the problem went away. Darren Brown would be proud.

Don't tell my kids, but that's...one to grow on.

  4. Nice article Teedge, but respectfully, the 2006 Patriots beat a Big 10 school that made the Final Four in 2005, an ACC school that was the defending champions, a Big East school that won it all in 2004, and a team nicknamed the Shockers. Not too shabby.

  5. Z, they did indeed, but in a much different manner than VCU so far. VCU has basically crushed three large conf schools, and pretty easily at that.

  6. Fair enough. They still haven't left bloody Shockers in their wake.

  15. I couldn't be happier that Bruce Pearl has been canned. That guy's a great coach and a stellar recruiter. I look forward to Tennessee hoops becoming irrelevant once more.

  16. Also, anybody know the player whose illegal presence at a BBQ at Pearl's house led to this whole mess?

  17. TJ's tweets over the last few days are rivaling Buzz Bissinger's tweets in bitterness and craziness. I didn't know he had that kind of range.

  22. Mark, has the Craft photo made its way around the interwebs? Just curious.

The Bruce Pearl saga is the negative image of the Hollywood story, the guy who was crushed by peers because he outed a crooked program, fought through it, then fell victim to the same sketchy system. 30 for 30 type fodder.
