The Carolina Panthers are starting this guy today

Brian St. Pierre.  His NFL career consists of 2 completions in 5 attempts.  But guess what...1 of those completions is for a TD.  So there...he's already better than Jimmy Clausen (just too easy)

And look, his old teammates seemed to love him...I'm guessing he threw Mr. Fitzgerald that TD...ah, thank you pro-football-reference.com.  St. Pierre to Fitzgerald, a 12 yard strike, to ruin a Packers shutout in their final game last regular season.  Final score Packers 33 - Cardinals 7.  Well done BSP, well done.

  1. Carolina was already down 7-0 by the time I hit "publish"...

  2. Will Montgomery and Derrick Dockery both on the field right now for Redskins OL. This was not in the plans...

  3. Jets are gonna kill me in the Survivor Pool...after all these weeks, I back them. At home. Against a reeling Texans team. Fuck you Rex Ryan and your faux hubris.

  4. Aside from the INT thrown by McNabb (bad throw), the Redskins have not looked more competent on offense all year. yet they still only have 10 points.

  5. Zman and I at the Jets game. Strong celebrity showings: Gandolfini, Gabourey Sibide and...wait for it...Ralph Macchio. I yelled "you're the man, Ralph" from 12 feet away. His family loved the reference, but he ignored me.

  6. I've seen every play of this Skins game and I must concur with Cornbread...this offense looks normal. But, I think we all know they are losing this late.

  7. Jimmy Johnson just said "If Favre does not pull his magic out..."? Please, someone tell me they saw this as well?

  8. Just turned on the Skins game. They are only down by 3. Someone eat there Wheaties this morning? Or is Tennessee that bad.

  9. Tennessee can't seem to stop the run, even though the Skins have 1.5 healthy running backs available to play right now. Williams just got hurt on this drive, so I think they dressed the RB coach and put him in.

  10. Stephon Heyer is looking rather good having moved to guard. Good help on the outside pass rush, getting out on backers. And Trent Williams is having another solid game. He's run his man 7 yards by McNabb at times.

And the Skins are currently 7-11 on third downs. All this with Dockery, Rabach and others injured.

  11. What happened in Buffalo? Last I checked Cinci was up 28-7 and now down 35-31? Did Frank Reich check in to the game?

  12. TN has a QB in named Rusty. And he kind of looks like a young Anthony Michael Hall wearing a helmet.

  14. Graham Gano had a 47 yarder to win the game, and missed it SHORT.

  15. ah, the old short from 47 yards trick. finding new ways to lose since 1998.

  19. Ridiculous end to jets game. They scored at our end zone. Edwards catch was amazing and Holmes getting his feet in equally amazing. I may have lifted Zman onto my shoulders and spun him around. A lot of fans bailed after Sanchize's INT, but we held strong.

Ha-yuge win, but Damien Woody's injury status is crucial to team's chances.

  20. TR did indeed hoist me into the air with joy. Fun game. Despite sitting in the shade all day I somehow managed to get a sunburn on my pasty face. Kubiak has to lose his job this year.

  28. For those of you with small children who are subjected to watching Sesame Street from time to time, Steve Czaban has been referring to Childress as "Mr. Noodles" for the last few weeks and its been killing me.

For those of you without small children, fuck you and your lazy sleeping in, doing whatever I wanna do when I feel like it lifestyle.

  29. Chilly looks like the dude from the short-lived sitcom "Evening Shade".
