The Jets should upgrade their secondary. Eric Smith, Dwight Lowery, Ty Law and Abram Elam have no business starting in the NFL.
Brandon Spikes could replace Eric Barton in the Jets 3-4 system. But it's hard to think about what the Jets will do until they hire a coach. If that coach plays a 4-3 defense, who knows where they will draft.
The Jets desparately need a physical receiver. All the "expert insiders" on Jets radio say that teams knew to bump Cotchery and Coles because they couldn't fight off contact and complete routes in a timely fashion. UNC's Hakeem Nix and Crabtree are the only stud WRs I know of. No way Crabtree is available at 17, and Nix hasn't declared himself for the draft yet.
I could give two shits about politics, but how the fuck do they allow the corrupt Gov of Illinois to appoint the Senator to replace Obama, after everything that took place?
well, thomas, they may well not allow said corrupt governor to appoint anyone. both the illinois secretary of state and the senate majority leader have stated that they will block the appointment. it's some bullshit from blago, is what it is.
The doors of my Starbucks are locked. Of all the days...
ReplyDeleteIf it makes you feel any better, I bet your breath would probably make me want to vomit as well.
ReplyDeleteIt would. If I mouth kissed you.
ReplyDeleteRhymo, two mock drafts I saw have the Jets taking linebacker Brandon Spikes from Mark's hard-on Florida.
ReplyDeleteI can't say I approve of that pick.
OK, so Starbucks apparently opened at 8am today. Whatever. I just took a big sip of my venti and threw up a little in my mouth. But swallowed it.
ReplyDeleteGreat day so far.

As I emailed Rhymo this morn, I give the Jets less than three days before Shanny is their coach.

ReplyDeleteand while we're on the soapbox, get a load of the continued cluelessness of former atty general alberto gonzalez:
ReplyDelete"I consider myself a casualty, one of the many casualties of the war on terror."
that shit's brazen, right there.
OK, that makes me feel better.
ReplyDeleteIllinois Nazis. I hate Illinois Nazis.
Alberto Gonzalez is no JP "Carlos" Losman.
ReplyDeleteJoke for two. Table by the kitchen.
Any chance the Jets take a fullback?
ReplyDeleteemerson boozer's not walking through that door.
ReplyDeletebarkley's really pushing the envelope on how much of a shitstorm one can create and still be electorally viable.
