Ohio State and Florida State demonstrated that third-string QBs aren't a seamless transition in postseason, no matter how many 5-star kids on the roster. Cardale Jones ain't walking thru that door.
I’ve had a pretty bad cold for most of the week. Finally starting to feel somewhat close to normal. Of course, my wife woke up today feeling like shit. Not a very good birthday present for her.
Ravens look good and Lamar has to be the favorite for MVP, he's the only star on that offense yet they are close to leading the league in points scored. I think their win last week against SF was more impressive than this week--Miami beat one team with a winning record, and that was on a last second FG against Dallas. This means, of course, that Miami will beat the pants off the Bills next week.
Wife rallied for a nice dinner with some friends at a local Lebanese spot. We were gonna meet them and some others down at the beach for a bonfire but the cops shut that shit down before it ever started. Not mad at all. My couch is a far better option.
there are facts in evidence here

ReplyDeleteTuning in to the Toledo Wyoming game. Who would have guessed?
ReplyDeleteMaybe the selection committee rightly decided against including FSU in the playoffs.
ReplyDeleteor they wrongly kept georgia out

ReplyDeleteBaltimore has been really impressive lately. They’ve lost some significant contributors on offense and just keep humming. Lamar has to be the MVP.
