Swiss Missed

In preparation for my trip to Switzerland next week, I've been boning up on Swiss rock music, so I can fit in with the locals. The problem, as I've discovered, is that Swiss rock music is essentially the equivalent of Italian baseball. As in, it kinda sucks.

Enjoy some Krokus, though.

  2. Where are you headed in Switzerland? I've only been to Lucerne, and it was amazingly cool.

  4. Ah, pretty close to Lucerne as well. And with a name like Baar, you can't go wrong.

  5. Is there a bar named Baar in Baar? I'd hope so.

  6. Spent a week skiing in Zermatt and drinking in the shadows of The Matterhorn. It didn't suck.

  7. I spent three days in Geneva in summer of 1998. All I remember is that is was extremely pricey.

  11. Clearly Rob is rooting for Brazil for them to be playing this poorly.

  12. I love how everyone acts like Britons and refers to countries in the plural only when discussing soccer.

  16. This is unlike anything I've ever seen. Even the Broncos think Brazil's performance is pathetic.

  17. I had to pick one semifinal to watch while working from home and another to miss a sizeable portion of. Pretty happy with my Arg-Ned choice,

  18. Marls I don't think we've done anything we shouldn't have, yet.

  20. Hola gheorghies. From mountain time you can do this before midnight. I'm sitting at a campground in Cody, Wyoming, drinking a few hopzone IPAs and citing sentence of Dave to my wife as we ponder whether to proceed to South Dakota or Colorado, where we'll end up on Friday in any case. She wasn't so keen on taking advice from an 'internet friend' I've never actually met, but a perusal of his blog seems to have convinced her. We're bound for the black hills and badlands tomorrow morn.

    Have fun in Switzerland Rob!
