squeaky - I ended up in the black last night but it was nominal. can't complain though. the fsu -8 2nd half bet kept me afloat. and what potentially effed me was the 2-point attempt becoming a lost cause due to the idiot taunting the aub sideline and getting a 15-yarder after the td. fsu won by 3...had they won by 4 I would have retired. for at least one day. ifs and buts, candy and nuts.
I did ok. Lost all my props but those were minimal. The Auburn and under first half wager was big. Like Danimal I took FSU (-9) in the 2nd half. Pushed me into the positive. Made me feel dirty though.
It was 4 degrees this morning. Four. The grease in the thing that automatically closes my storm door froze so the door wouldn't close. I took my glove off to try to fix it but my hand hurt from the cold after 10 seconds so I just ripped the mechanism off the door frame. zwoman was not pleased because now the storm door just flops in the breeze. A trip to Home Depot is in my near future.
You guys are soft! I'm still trying to find the temp where it's too cold to bike to work. Temp was four when I rode in this morning, and that was doable. Just a little chill in my toes and fingers, but the rest of me was sweating.
I did find what I was looking for, Rootsy. Not difficult at all. The only problem is my "buddy" who brokered the deal is now hounding me for all kinds of things, while telling me how hard it is to make ends meet. Not good times for him b/c his upselling won't work.
if you'd like to make some money this evening, the tribe is favored at home against a drexel team that beat alabama and had a 19-point lead over arizona. sure, the dragons have scuffled of late, but that line boggles me. on top of that, tim rusthoven has missed the team's last two games with illness and will be rusty (oh, yeah, pun intended) tonight.

ReplyDeleteSo I was one when this happened. Might have to pick up the book. Nothing like history repeating itself 42 years later.
I'm realizing today that I wasn't nearly smug enough when Florida was awesome. Just a heads up, I'm going to be unbearable in 2018.

ReplyDeleteI have to travel to Chicago next week and I'm hoping it'll be above 0.
ReplyDeleteyeah, 40 here too. but 40 in fla is like 25 everywhere else. it feels a lot worse than 45. it's so cold. supposed to be 70 on Thursday.
