Creating space for running commentary on Mendozapalooza. And it's Husky Gameday, so a filler twofer for your social media pleasure. Kids go on road to Commanders great (and current Bengal) Jonathan Allen's alma mater (in the same town as the Commanders' training facility) to take on a foe from a larger classification.
Our Huskies are pretty chill, but do enjoy these huskies doing husky things.
it's ed wang's alma mater, too, for you connoisseurs of offensive line play.
ReplyDeletemar-a-lago bro's wife just walked past my house with their dog. assume she's headed home wondering why she was being booed.

ReplyDeleteThat Jets draft montage is like the WKRP turkey drop video, I eagerly await it every year.
ReplyDeleteTeej, I still remember that '89 draft and Lageman and Kiper's remark that it proved they had no idea what they were doing. Followed by the Jets' official mocking Kiper as some guy from Baltimore who works out of his basement.
ReplyDeleteKiper clarified that he thought Lageman was a solid prospect, but overvalued at 14. Said Jets could have/should have traded down, got a couple more picks and still could have drafted Lageman cuz few others had him rated highly. Turned out Kiper was correct.
huskies fell, 2-0, to a strong, skilled, and physical side. really happy with the effort and the fight. we play monday against the defending state champs. i predict pain. but then the schedule lightens up for a bit.

ReplyDeletezwoman wanted to back up some files so I said “use a thumb drive” and she said “what’s that?” and I said “like a memory stick or a USB drive” and she got testy and fired back “I’ve never heard of any of those things.” How is that possible? And then when I fished a thumb drive out of my desk (shaped like the face of Maceo from De La Soul) and plugged it into the laptop she said “I’ve never seen one of those before.” Again, how is this possible? For background, she works for a major tech company.
ReplyDeleteDid she fall and hit her head?? What is going on?
