Masterclass

Martin Short has been guest hosting for Jimmy Kimmel this week, and I'm here to tell you that the 74 year-old legend has not lost an inch off his fastball. Or his slapshot, as the case may be for Canadian comics. Feast your senses on this preposterous Jiminy Glick interview of Bill Hader. Poor Hader - himself no slouch - is completely helpless in the presence of Short/Glick's way over the top genius.

  1. Minor league baseball afternoon.
Norfolk Tides 14, Charlotte Knights 4.
Beers consumed: many. Like a lot.
    Hooray!

  2. 3 buffs drafted in the first 42 picks. almost makes one wonder why they didn't go deeper in the tournament.

  3. bronny gonna play with dad. i don't think he's good enough to stay in the league, but that's an objectively cool story.

  4. Panama decided to just goon this game up, I see. And the referee doesn’t seem to care all that much.

  7. That was as dirty a game as I’ve seen in a long time by Panama.

  8. Tim Weah bears some real responsibility here. As Rob said, took the bait.

  9. that's how panama plays. those fuckers fight like crazy. we should've been prepared for it. some of our guys were. really, really poor from weah. and it's gonna cost berhalter his job. which, weirdly, might turn out to be a good thing.

  11. Also, I go the other way on the Bronny story. I don’t think it’s cool. His son didn’t earn this and it’s all about LeBron’s ego.. Rich Paul said as much when he said earlier this week (paraphrasing) “if we wanted to we’d tell the Lakers to take Bronny at 17”.

Maybe Bronny becomes a legit nba player but he’s so far from it now. I wouldn’t want this if I was him.

  13. Portugal sounds great. TJ’s recent trip made me even more excited about that as a possibility.
