ReplyDeleteRecently read the Agassi bio. He definitely underachieved but I’d say if Tiger underachieved the reasons weren’t completely the same as him and Agassi. Overbearing parent? Without a doubt. Self doubt? I think that’s a different animal. Depending on the individual timeline.
ReplyDeleteAgassi actually controlled it more late in life while Tiger spun out a bit because he hadn’t really lived in a way Agassi had - for better or worse.
