I heard this on the radio and thought it would make a good interlude.

  1. you guys will be shocked to learn that the tribe men's hoops squad is getting its doors blown off at valparaiso. our wrens will finish their out of conference schedule with a robust 1-12 record (that win was against d-3 mary baldwin). strong to very strong.

  4. I have to agree with Dave on this one.

On another musical note, my son randomly picked up my bass guitar (I never got into playing it) and started to teach himself how to play Seven Army Nation, Under Pressure, and Money all in the last three weeks. Told him to learn One of These Days. Any other suggestions?

  6. Jesus H. Tribe shot 48 pct from field and 41 pct from 3 in first half and trailed by 14. That's 'cause Valpo shot 63 pct and 61 pct from 3. Never threatened in second half. Tribe finished with almost as many turnovers (21) as baskets (26). Man, that's grim.

  9. Today was my last half/full day of work for the year. Unfortunately, that means I have quite a bit of present wrapping to do and some additional errands to run over the next day and a half. So much so that I postponed a tattoo appointment this afternoon. Got in a Home Alone viewing with the kid and a friend during a sleep over tonight though so that’s a win. I love Xmas but it’s easy to see how stressful and unenjoyable it can be.

    Love y’all Gheorgies!

  10. Back at you, Mark.

I took this whole week off. If I haven’t mentioned it before here, I have my daughters with me for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning for the first time since 2008. It’s shaping up to be the very best holiday season ever for me. Can’t tell you guys what it means to me.

  12. Season's Greetings, all. I've been ready to quit my job a couple times over the past 10 days, but my boss is such a great guy that I just can't do it.
