ReplyDeleteI am sunburnt. Got scorched at my oldest guy’s football game and my youngest guy’s soccer game. Good guys won both games: 16-6 and 7-0, respectively. I don’t want to complain about the extended summer, but 88 degrees is hot as fuck. But the forecast into October here in the NYC area is perfect.
Happy belated Whit. I was busting balls all weekend to get our rental house ready for the tenants who moved in yesterday, and to get my work done before three days way off the grid in WV this week. Going with youngest son on school trip to bike the Greenbrier River Trail, a rail bed converted to trail along a beautiful river, where I'm the designated long-distance biker. No idea how motivated the kids are this year, but three years ago I ended up doing 76.9 miles with a group of 13 year olds. I doubt that much effort will be required this year, but we'll see.
