You know the old adage, a merkin** a day keeps the doctor away. That makes the models below some healthy gals. Bonus points to the designer for calling this collection "Oriental Garden".
**I love that we already had a "Merkins" label
Thank you Mark for the reminder:
Best Gameday sign ever is still “Lee Corso wears a Merkn”.
ReplyDeleteAlways here to help.
ReplyDeleteDid another 2+ tattoo hours for my back last night. Going to have been able to buy a decent used car for what this ends up costing me. Never said I was smart.
how are those merkins attached? velcro style?
ReplyDeletealso, what movie character is named "merkin"? no googling . . .
I was excited for the black cement 3s.
ReplyDeleteMeeting of the minds in Richmond last night. Zman, Rootsy, Marls, rob, Sisler, Karn, Coby, et al.
ReplyDeleteIm reasonably sure that someone slipped a mickey in my 27th beer.
I purchased the Black Cement 3s. I’m putting myself on shoe purchase probation for a while.
ReplyDeletethose are dope
ReplyDeleteyou guys suck . . . merkin muffley in dr. strangelove.
ReplyDeleteIndeed they are, Rob. They are some of my all time favorite shoes. Which is why I made the purchase. But I’ve bought an absurd amount of shoes since around Thanksgiving and I really need to chill out for a while. At least that’s what the adult that lives somewhere inside is saying.
ReplyDeleteHL Mercken?
ReplyDeletehe'd put his cigar out in your eye if you called him that.
ReplyDeletejust ran 3 miles, met my wife for beers post-run, wound up having a drink with the attorney general of the commonwealth of virginia, then ran home another mile. interesting sunday afternoon for your boy.

ReplyDeletebut as a plural, it might be a podcast about boxcars. hard to say.
ReplyDeleteTeej torched a dude on Twitter who put Shaver on the hot seat. The whole gang (Rob, Fairbanks) jumped in to back up Teej’s case. I enjoy the passion you boys show for W&M basketball. And that’s why I’ll show up to whatever NCAA regional y’all (eventually) make.
ReplyDeleteWould be nice if W&M had a seat for sports coaches that they kept a bit warm. Laycock and Chris Norris deserve some time there.
ReplyDeletei would be okay if jimmye started to get some heat. will always respect his work, but it's time to think about the next guy.
ReplyDeleteEven Carl Lewis thought Fergie’s national anthem was awful.
ReplyDeleteThat was a really fun All star game. Cool to see it matter to them down the stretch.
ReplyDeleteRob - in response to your travel rec inquiry on the FB, I'd suggest you drive to Portland by way of Bend, OR and stay there for a couple of days if the time affords. And if it does afford, then I'd stay there for as many days as possible.
ReplyDeleteRob, didn't see the FB post but Griffin (older Pi Lam and works for our company) lives in Portland. He might be able to hook you up with a tour of the Nike campus and driving routes/sites.
ReplyDeleteMy immediate reaction upon seeing this picture was to think of the Amanda Palmer song "Map of Tasmania" ... seriously, go check it out.
