Merry Gheorghemas
Gather 'round, everyone. Get the children, too. Warm holiday wishes from all the Gheorghies. We're still working on our Christmas card. Maybe next year.
To celebrate the holidays and a year of Live Bruce Springsteen releases, an hour of previously unreleased live music from The River Tour in Tempe, AZ Nov. 5, 1980 is now available as free MP3s. Mixed by Bob Clearmountain and mastered at Gateway Mastering, the ten song compilation completes the concert included in the recent box set The Ties That Bind: The River Collection.
Son received a small drone from mystery gifter. Dad got drone working. Small but wow does it fly high. Dad loses control after drone lifts to 150 feet. Drone ends up in jungle. Not retrievable without an army of machete wielding commandos. Son really pleased with dad. Merry Christmas everyone.
Behind my back, Santa brought the boys a giant foosball table that has come in approximately 1,000,000 pieces. Kids are getting the indefinite "later this month" call from Dad on putting it together.
My family is out of town which usually means a low key Xmas dinner at my in laws. Not this year though as the in laws and the Bizzarro decided to combine Xmas dinners. That means we'll have 20-25 loud ass, possibly drunk Italians all crammed in to a couple of rooms. I'm bringing my own bourbon. And possibly walking down the street to Greg's parents house for a smoke break with Jolly Joe Kickass.
We have Chivas 18 going on here. I gave it to a buddy as a gift, w/ a clear undertone of "you better start pouring this" at some point. Thankfully, the message was understood.
As I've said ad nauseum, Cheers is my all time #1. Best episodes of Season 1:
