Neither Parsons nor a Project.

Talk amongst yourselves...while listening to this clip of course:

  1. That guy Lynyrd Skynyrd had the best voice. Almost as good as that cat Steely Dan.

  2. What about your ex, Thin Lizzy?

  3. Tasteless joke, The Teej! The Thin Lizzy gee-tarist just died! Shame on you for degrading our typically high level of discourse.

  4. Gee, I wonder why I mentioned them?

  10. Your post, when reading it, simply elicited a "wow".

    That's it. Don't overthink it.

  12. That Fridge story on the front of espn.com is about the most depressing story ever. I'm gonna do something less depressing now, like run over a kitten.

  13. Thanks TR for that uplifting reccomendation. I especially like the part about him sitting in his own urine.

  14. What makes the story so horrible is that it has a big uplifting piece in the middle that gets destroyed at the end, making his fate seem that much worse.

But let's be honest. Haven't we all wallowed in our own urine in a chair while watching TV because we didn't feel like getting up? Just me?

  15. Why did you say "neither Parsons nor a project"? It is Alan Parsons.

Guest vocalist for the Alan Parson Project in recent years? Kip Winger from the band "Winger." Not to be confused with Glenn Danzig from the band "Danzig" or Alex Van Halen from the band "Van Halen."

  16. I read the Fridge story too. I was trying to work the timeline in my head. By my calculations, he got down to 190 pounds in the 2007-2008 time frame, went through a bunch of therapy, and as of now he is back up to over 400?

  17. That is why I now wear adult diapers. That and the fact that they make my butt look good in jeans.

  18. So members of this makeshift band were members of the clergy called parsons? Hmmm, you should tell them that.

  19. did perry pee in that pool?

if so, why is his therapist laughing?

  20. have seen the fridge on more than one occasion at the augusta hooters...hunkered down at the barstool getting freebies from those that wanted a brush w/fame. at the time, he was a bricklayer apparently.

  21. Somehow, I'm more hungover today that I was yesterday after the Vegas trip. A lift & a run has done very little to change this. Still, I regret nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  22. As Potchey once said, "Like the hangover, the regret soon fades."

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm a terrible person, thus I rarely regret anything.

  24. Wait a minute, Ike Diogu is still in the NBA?

    Okay then.

  25. depaul is 1-47 in their last 48 conference games. talk about futile superfans.
