Breaking News! For me at least . . .

Apparently, in 1994, the Dearest Leader (and the Implementer of the Follicular Clampdown) Kim Jong Il, shot a record 34 at the Pyongyang Golf Club. That's 38 under par, and it was his first outing on a course.

This was reported by the club's pro, Park Young Man, who obviously wants to live for many more years. He said Kim had five holes-in-one and is "an excellent golfer."

This is news to me, and I would like to personally congratulate The Dearest Leader, as I've played a round or two of golf myself, and I know how challenging it can be.

  1. I wonder if Kim Jong Il and Charlie Weis ever dined together?

  2. Tiger Woods needs Kim Jong Il's PR man, if not his short game.

  5. TBL has mention of our mascot search.

Here's my favorite comment: "I like #2, but I’d prefer if they were fucking. I think they should be the William and Mary Fucking. I’d settle for the William and Mary Fingerbangs."

  6. i love googling "follicular clampdown."

  10. It is an outreach center for social misfits named in honor of Earl Gregg Swem. Dont know much about EGS, but based on his name I think he was some sort of royalty and was the Tribe's first defensive coordinator.

  14. Nice details, Marls. You forgot to mentino that his great great great great great great grandson, Forrest Gregg, coached Kenny Anderson, Pete Johnson, Chris Collinsworth and the Bengals to Super Bowl XVI.

  15. Thanks for that super-safe work link Z-Man. Way to give notice that the link would lead to a barely dressed porn star with DDx!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Sorry. I figured that a Fox News link wouldn't be a problem.

    ReplyDelete
  17. It would be a problem for rob...and probably Whit too.

  18. If I'm Jaleel White's agent, I'm making sure my client is on the short list for every Tiger movie already in the making...and you know there are at least three productions already in the works.

  19. I bet Vivid Video is scouring its roster of dudes to find a Tiger impostor. Lexington Steele may have a new gig soon.

  20. Looks like G:TB's failure to finish the Cauc Hop is not the only thing weighing on Pete Nice's mind . . .

  21. Who knew Pete Nice was such a baseball junkie? And so fucking boring too?

And, I've heard that there is indeed a Tiger based porn in the making. The role of Elin will be highly sought after, I'm sure.

In my opinion, I think the agent is doing a poor job and I agree with Dave Kirvin's recs.

And, I don't know how to do that tiny

  26. UConn-Kentucky tonight at 9:30. Kemba Walker/Jerome Dyson v. John Wall/Eric Bledsoe. Should be fun.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Z-Man and the Teej is sounding more and more like All Things Considered.

  28. Tah-Tah-Tootie, go get Jaleel White for next week's show and some carpet cleaner that works on bourobn.

  29. Should we buy Marls some Billy Bob teeth and a fake stache to complete the Baby Booey transformation? Or does the phrase "try and Oates it up" suffice?

  30. Wolf is Tweeting at the Wiz game tomorrow night, in case you're interested.

Blitzer, a Wizard's season ticket holder for the last 10 years, will be sending along tweets to the NBA Twitter feed from his seat throughout the game for the league's more than 1.65 million followers. The NBA Twitter account can be found at twitter.com/nba, Wolf's at twitter.com/WolfBlitzerCNN.

  31. Just noticed Rob's comment about Dan Patrick making fun of W&M's mascot choices. That's a lot of nerve out of somebody who went to Dayton.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Mark, how much does Chuck Strong to the 'Ville hurt your boys in the Sugar Bowl?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Montell Jordan was 6'8"? How did I not know this?

    ReplyDelete
  34. He played college ball. At Pepperdine I believe.

Charlie's absence will hurt, for sure. Not as much as some programs though. Dan McCarney was the asst. Def. Co. and is probably going to be promoted to Charlie's spot in the offseason. He's a former Head Coach and a very good DC so I don't expect it to have a dramatic effect. Recruiting though, that's where some of my most immediate concerns lie.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Evidently, Charlie's coaching the D in the Sugar Bowl. Nice.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Strong was the Anthony Grant to Meyer's Billy D?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Scottie Reynolds on the Jess Settles extended stay program...

    ReplyDelete
  38. Billy D was and is just fine. As I've stated before. I love this year's edition of Gator basketball. Not as skilled, but athletic, tough and versatile. It's nice to see them pressing (effectively) again. I do think Syracuse wins tomorrow night though.

And Charlie Strong is awesome and will always be a Gator. He's the lone holdover from the Zook Era. This speaks volumes for Meyer's respect for him as a coach, as Meyer pretty much tried to change the entire system and culture when he took over yet retained Strong. And this was, I believe, was Strong's 5th time as a member of the Gator coaching staff. I wore my Polo buttoned up all the way to the top today in Charlie's honor.

  39. That Cuse/Gators game is gonna be fun...

Vitale might have a coronary before tip of this UK/UConn game.

    ReplyDelete
  40. The Walker/Dyson backcourt is top 3 in the country...perhaps even tops.

    ReplyDelete
  41. And just for the heck of it...

LaRon Landry just got beat on another double move...

    ReplyDelete
  42. This is my first glimpse of the (highly paid) young Kentucky team...if I didn't dislike Cal so much these kids would be fun to root for.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Vitale is right. Bledsoe is underrated. Florida thought they were gonna get him but Calipari swooped in.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Besides my natural disdain for UK, I completely agree. Wall's a freak, Patterson the best low post guy in college and Bledsoe, Cousins, Orton and the rest are all studs too. Ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Calhoun pulled Dyson after that initial steal...tough love indeed.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Wall's youtube clips look like a fucking video game.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Calhoun is gonna fucking kill one of his players.

    ReplyDelete
  48. So for the last three years Cal has had as a PG Rose, Evans and now Wall?

    ReplyDelete
  49. At this point, if you're a one and done guard, why wouldn't you go with Calipari?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Sloppy yet entertaining game so far...how many pros you think we have in this one?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Is Edwards a whitey? Or is he jeter-y?

    ReplyDelete
  52. The only way this game could be more entertaining is if a boozed up Whitney drunkenly wandered on to the court.

    ReplyDelete
  53. He's Jetery. As for NBA guys, I'd say somewhere between 7-10.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Mark, enjoy your Bucs' second win vs the Kellen Clemens-led Jets this weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  55. fact: uconn beat william & mary and harvard by a combined 15 points. i have no idea what that portends.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Fact: the Chargers have not lost a game in December since 2005.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Fact: its harder to get into Kings Dominion than it is Kentucky.

    ReplyDelete
  58. UConn can't shoot for shit. They may lose a few games that have no business losing this year (I'm looking at you St. John's and Seton Hall).

    ReplyDelete
  59. The Johnnies got a win over Georgia tonight I believe.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Who's the Lions 3rd string QB (back-up this week)? Because there is no way Culpepper lasts the whole game against the Ravens.

    ReplyDelete
  61. dickie v with william and mary love! tony shaver's a ptper!

    ReplyDelete
  62. w&m is not, repeat, not cupcake city, per dickie v.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I rewound my live TV feed twice after I thought I heard Dickie V talk Tribe. I would've never guessed he knew who Tony Shaver was.

    Banner week for us.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I think Patterson could palm a 10 lb turkey.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Harvard beat BC tonight by 7. Can't hurt our SOS.

    ReplyDelete
  66. This game is a little sloppy but its damn fun to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Sorry Z-Man, Jaleel can't come on the show. In stead, I lined up the Family Matters Dad/Sgt. Al Powell, and I got you a bottle of Billy Mays' Kaboom.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Billy Mays' problem was that he snorted a little too much powder and his heart went kaboom.

    Too soon?

    ReplyDelete
  69. Never too soon in my dojo sir.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I heard that about Billy Mays for the first time this weekend. I guess his ticker was already bad and using narcotics that constrict blood vessels didn't help it.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Billy Mays & Tiger Woods: wealthy celebrities who used deviant means to come to terms with their squeaky clean public images.

They should've partied together. They could've lined up Mays' coke on Tiger's strippers. Everybody wins. Except Billy Mays and his bad ticker, I guess.

  72. I'm of the opinion we need another Die Hard movie just to get Reginald Vel Johnson some more work. They couldn't have given him a cameo in the last one? Who would have had a problem with that? No one, I say.

    ReplyDelete
  73. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I have to imagine that Mr. Vel Johnson does not have to work much thanks to Family Matters. That crap was on forever will be played in syndication even longer.

Trying to put together a Z-Man and the Teej show featuring washed up stars of the small screen. Richard Greico is in, but Peter Deluise's people have not called me back. I am also looking to get the guy who played Dudley on Diff'rnt Strokes sot that the Teej can discuss getting molested by Arthur Carlson/The Maytag Man.
