Futile Superfan Preseason

Fresh off the underpublicized but always entertaining CAA Media Day, William & Mary received a commitment from 6'0" 170 lb. point guard Brandon Britt yesterday. Britt joins Julian Boatner, a 6-1 guard from Bloomington, Ind., Fred Heldring, a 6-10 center from Winnetka, Ill., and Tim Rusthoven, a 6-8 forward from West Chicago, Ill. in W&M's 2010-11 freshman class. We commend to you FOGT:B MGL's continuing coverage of all things CAA over at Life as a Mid Major. All the Shaka Smart, Tony Shaver, and Tom Pecora you could want, and so much more.

More importantly for this filler post, Britt's signing set off a chain of events that led Teejay to fondly recall the late Lenny Briscoe. Rest in peace, Jerry Orbach.

And bring on the Fred Heldring Era.

  3. Gay Quote of the Day also emanated from the Brandon Britt/Jerry Orbach thread, when Teejay wrote:

"he not only made law and order

but lets be honest, he made dirty dancing too"

    Jam yourself, sissy.

  4. Just because you're in the bag for Jennifer Grey doesn't mean I'm wrong old man.

  7. Don't you think Jennifer Grey could make a great cameo on "Two and a Half Men"?

If you say Ferris Bueller, you lose a testicle...
