  3. There is a heated "silo" vs "waterball" debate occurring in the car.

  5. Swint just had a huge run coming over the Del Mem Br...Teejay 3, Swint 3, Dennis 1

  9. The TR/TJ thing was just too much.

  11. if cuse could guard the big white foreign kid, this game would be over. shouldn't rautins be able to use some kind of euro mind trick?

  12. just feels like arizona state has no chance here.

  13. I don't want Mark to have another hissy fit, but I'm pretty fired up for Siena/Louisville.

  14. Teejay, how was Atlantic City? Were you able to grab the guys you wanted?

  15. When did I have a hissy fit?

I'm sorry that I don't appreciate the commercial crap that passes for hip-hop these days, Teej.

  16. The Seacrest Top 40 countdown had a lot of that type stuff.

Whit, I'm too braindead to say much more than AC was awesome once again.

    And I drafted Fatty Sabathia.

  20. pitt's gonna owe sam young if they pull this out.

  21. 'you said pudgy!'. siiiick pass.

  22. so, cbs. i care a lot more about the pitt game than i do the cleveland state game. can we switch back?

    ReplyDelete
  23. wow, that was easy. now, can i have $500,000? i'm not greedy.

    ReplyDelete
  24. pitt seems to have forgotten how to play basketball.

  25. TJ--I think Gus loves Siena as much as you do.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Um, can we please cut back to the Siena game please?

  30. rough endgame for marquette.

  31. That's a long ride home for the kid that stepped on the end-line on the throw-in.

Longer than TJ's ride home from AC. Longer than AC's ride with OJ.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hate to kick a city when it comes to sports issues, but that kid just happens to be from Buffalo.

  33. if you had chalk in your ncaa pool, go to the head of the class. only two of the sweet sixteen participants were not in the top 16 original seeds - purdue and arizona. bad news for fans of the underdog, but on the flip side, we're set up for some serious ball next weekend.

  34. was just flipping through the channels and landed on espn to hear jon miller's voice. welcome, old friend. i've missed you.

  35. steve phillips' and then joe morgan's rang out shortly thereafter. my reaction was not quite the same.

  36. I agree Rob. A pretty mundane first weekend of the tourney as far as upsets go. However, there were a slew of closely contested and entertaining games and there are some great matchups on the horizon next weekend (Plus, I'm in decent position in my main pool). Consider me sufficiently pumped.

  37. It's annoying to me. In my biggest money pool, I'm tied for second place. The leader has Pitt over Louisville in the final, just like me. He also has exactly two seeds that aren't 1-4 in his sweet 16 -- both 5-seeds. His Final 4? All 1-seeds. Yes, by being boring and conservative, he's winning.

    But it's far from over.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Let's just say I'm dragging a tad bit at the office today...

    ReplyDelete
  39. unless you really did something stupid, like take wake into the final four (and my marquette over maryland in the sweet sixteen is close to qualifying), you should be in pretty good shape in most pools. i'm pretty far down the table in my pool, but i'm the only one in the pool to take oklahoma to win. i gambled on kansas into the final four, as well.

    ReplyDelete
  40. So, having Wake play Cuse in the Final is not gonna help me?

    ReplyDelete
  41. you're still in the running for the 2010 money.

    ReplyDelete
  42. what's to be gained by having gilbert arenas play the last 10 games of this dismal season? prove that he can play so they can trade him? failing that, this idea stinks for the wiz.

    ReplyDelete
  43. They're trying to get season ticket holders to renew...we got invoices a few weeks ago. They've also been running "thank you fans, we love you" clips on the jumbotron during games.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Jody Meeks, really really good.

  45. I just had to say the word "rural" on the phone, twice in fact, and each time I sounded like a complete idiot. "Rural" is much tougher to say than I thought.
