  1. thanks to mizzou for making this interesting.

  2. The big white stiff on Mizzou just seems out of place on that team.

  3. I look forward to Blake Griffin destroying Hyper Gay Muppet tomorrow.

  4. uconn's just got so many weapons.

  5. I have a bad feeling this game is about to get away from Mizzou

  6. I'm pretty happy to be wrong so far.

UConn is not handling this pressure well.

  8. I seem to remember a certain bald basketball aficionado predicting that Kemba Walker would end up being a major difference in maker in March about a month or so ago. Now, if I could only remember that guy's name...

  9. That's right, I did hear Dickie V say that.

  10. That was an awkward tip-in...

  11. Nice if you to participate in basketball related discussions today Teej. You get a little too loose at happy hour last night?

  12. The lack of internet can be a real dagger

  13. Well, good try Mizzou...bring on Pitt/Nova.

  14. TJ...you ever read that ESPN articel on Corey Fisher?

Assuming you didn't, here's the highlights: His uncle once owned the Apollo, was associates with Nicky Barnes and had his own episode of American Gangster.

  15. ahhh, finally time to kick back and watch an uninterrupted half of basketball.

  16. have i mentioned that i love sam young's game?

  17. I knew Jermaine Dixon would be back. I told Vitas earlier that Dixon had "crackhead strength".

  18. DeJuan Blair needs to do something about the way he shoots his free throws. There's entirely too much movement leading directly into his release.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Blair's performance not too shabby either.

  20. it's about time for a levance fields fadeaway dagger.

  21. What a horrible foul by crackbaby

    ReplyDelete
  22. or a terrible turnover compounded by a stupid foul.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Holy shit this game is fantastic.

  24. Gotta agree with Raft. Take the 2 and extend the game.

  25. Verne Lundquist was jinx Nova if it was the last thing he did.

    ReplyDelete
  26. What a horrible pass by Nova. Fisher came wide open in the left corner right after the pass was released.

Thank god for that pass though. This is too fun.

  30. el salvador up 1-0 on the us 20 minutes in. game's at home. not good.

  31. That was absolutely awesome. One game (and I do mean the whole game) like that makes an entire tourney as far as I'm concerned.

My sister thinks that they drew up the hook and ladder style setup to that play. If so, kudos to you Jay Wright. And of course, Scottie Reynolds is awesome and I am an asshole.

    ReplyDelete
  32. i think your sister is right. that looked planned.

    ReplyDelete
  33. u.s. really looks like dogcrap thus far.

    ReplyDelete
  34. the us/el salvador game is in el salvador. we should still be playing better.

  35. Late to the party after catching up on the games with the DVR.

Was there an own goal against the US? And why isn't Tim Howard starting? I thought he is our #1 guy now. He's having a great year in the EPL. There are no leagues games this w/e b/c of all the qualifiers.

    Yo no entiendo.

  36. Isn't Frankie Hedjuk about 35 years old?

And why is a nation called "The Savior?"

I'm full of dumb questions tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  37. i missed the goal, tr, but based on harkes' discussion afterwards, it wasn't an own goal - just bad defense by the u.s.

    ReplyDelete
  38. i know none of you would would ever admit to watching it, but this mich st/iowa st women's game is awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  39. God bless 35 year old Frankie Hejduk...

    ReplyDelete
  40. hejduk! nice. serves those floppy bitches right.

    ReplyDelete
  41. 7 minutes is a ridiculous amount of stoppage time.

    ReplyDelete
  42. that's a good result, considering. now for some women's hoops. or bedtime.
