Thank god they held on to win that game...good grief. Is it too much to ask for a .500 mark at the All Star break? (actually, with the Angels in town for 3, yes, yes it is)
Strike 3 was a check-swing called a ball on a 3-2 count (with a man on second) that got appealed and the 1B ump rang him up. Iffy, though YES won't show replays from the only angle that mattered, so it must obviously have been the right call.
Kudos to Comedy Central for playing this and Naked Gun back-to-back yesterday.
