Be very very quiet, I'm hunting Quayle...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally wounded a companion with shotgun pellets on a weekend quail hunt in Texas, his office said on Sunday.

  1. Yeah, it was McBad, but it was just too god damned easy. Plus, it's early on a Monday and I don't even know where to start with Georgetown's second half performace last night...

  2. Are you at work today? I figured that most stuff would be shut down up your way today.

  3. Are you just all pictures now?

  4. I'm pictures as a filler until I can organize some college hoops thoughts. And Mark, our snow came Saturday night and most melted yesterday, so I am here, miserable, and trolling the web for images to post...

  5. Jerry, if I'm choosing between pictures and nothing, I'm taking the pictures. I think you need to take on a new co-writer over at the Birdcage.

  6. Yeah, call Mayhugh or something. I'm considering (gasp) working this morning if i can't find something to waste time on. Though Peter Gammons was a help this morning.

  7. I'd love to crank out an Olympics post, but then I realized I haven't watched one second of the Olympics so it might be tough.

  9. I actually forced myself to watch a good deal of the Olympics yesterday. I'm enjoyed the downhill skiing, though it's a bit repetitive which also applies to the snowboarding. It was a decent option for the second TV and/or the flip back channel.

Gammons is the only Baseball Writer I can consistently read (take that Buster Olney!). Though seeing him in person during Spring Training last year left me visibly shaken for a number of days. A truly bone chilling level of ugly.

  10. By far the best sign at the G'town/WVU game...

    Brokeback Mountain...eers

It easily supplanted the work of the Pakistani kid next to us in the coonskin cap. Strangest WVU fan EVER.
