But I commend to you a piece entitled "La Petite Fille de la Mer." "The Little Girl of the Sea." It was used in the film Stranger Than Fiction, which I have recommended before.
Hey Gheorghies! Been a minute. I’ve been in Boston all week for work. It’s been quite a week. Went out for bowling/billiards/beers with my coworkers on Tuesday night (and the Magic won the lottery!- Greg and I have and will continue to send entirely too many texts about this). Went to Fenway for the first time last night and had absurdly good box seats. Had a half day off today. Hit some bars, Bodega (shouts to Zman) and am currently grabbing a meal at Saltie Girl (check it out if you like seafood). All in all, a hell of a week. Might need a nap and a diet when I get back to Florida.
gheorghies! i, too, was on a work boondoggle. first trip to minneapolis since the pandemic began. got to see minnesota united play la galaxy at the former's sweet new(ish) stadium. dragged my team along, 'cause i'm the boss.
I failed to mention that former OBXer Bruce was in town Tuesday night. I may be just recovered now. Many beers and some watching of the Miami Vice 2-part series premiere.

ReplyDeleteDoes Miami Vice hold up? I want to watch that and Magnum P.I. again but I'm worried they won't be as impressive as they were 35 years ago.
