So when you're done listening to all Rob's recommendations (I liked The Weeds) then check out the newest episode of The Test. It's short and sweet, and I guarantee you'll go through some mental gymnastics to pass.
Stacey describes some things . . . little things . . . things that you're familiar with and know how to use -- but do you know what these things are called? Can you name them?
Cunningham and I get a few, but in the end, the Voice of God has to descend from his ethereal realm and clarify a couple of things.
We also learn that jokes are funnier when you're holding a puppy.
Check it out and see how you fare.
To follow up on the Beyonce comments in the last post. You guys may know this, but I'm just learning today.
ReplyDeleteTrending on Twitter now is Rachel Roy--she's some designer who apparently is the woman Jay Z was stepping out with: the "Becky with the good hair"
And apparently Rachel subtweeted Bey last night and the Bey-hive went nuts.
This may be manufactured drama to sell albums...but I don't care b/c it's highly entertaining.
Saw your GGG comment in the last post Mark. Have been traveling and totally lost track of the weekend. My nights with the in-laws involve a lot of Law and Order SVU on near maximum volume. But I'm excited to get home and catch a replay. I LOVE Golivkin and Chocolatito on the same card.
ReplyDeleteNot easy being Rachael Ray right now.
ReplyDeleteI caught the back half of the Chocolatito fight and all of GGG. A highly entertaining non PPV card.
ReplyDeleteI have seen Ryan Fitzpatrick about twice a week for the last month, including at a Kindergarten/First Grade lax clinic tonight. Each time I want to yell "sign the contract" at him, but don't.
ReplyDeleteCA2C does not read G:TB.
ReplyDeletei see that steph's injury has really killed the mood here.
ReplyDeleteYep. That and my hemorrhoids.
ReplyDeleteCheck out tigers twitter feed....you may catch a glimpse of the Daminal in a couple. If I only knew how to insert one of those arrow thingys. I did get close up video of him skulling one over a green from about 80 yards. It was....ugly. I felt for him. Kind of.
ReplyDeleteSucks to watch Dirk and the Mavs go out so feebly against OKC. I hope he announces when his last year is. He deserves the red carpet retirement treatment.
ReplyDeleteAnd as I type this, they get right back in the game.
The SNL 40 clip of Prince performing at the after party is excellent.
ReplyDeleteAnd the uber-drunk Jimmy Fallon is an added benefit
And Daninal--how do we find you in the crowd?
ReplyDeleteShlara - on his most recent tweet "unreal day at bluejack" you can get a glimpse at the :51 mark. If you look at Feherty, I am the guy that looks almost as if I'm scratching Feherty's back. Of course I'm not, I'm a few feet away. But I would if I could.
ReplyDeleteAlso on the "Tee Shot on the long 18th hole", in the last two seconds you'll see a guy to your right of the photographer - I'm the very last person on the right who looks back to see his finish. My head shines.
I can't believe you couldn't find me.
Chris Paul broke his hand???
ReplyDeleteThat really sucks
Danimal---thanks for the instructions--you're big time
ReplyDeleteAre you going to post those video clips you took of tigers swing on the blog?
I just may do that.
ReplyDeleteIs it true he was busting 300 yard bombs on the full?

ReplyDeleteThe R**skins filed a cert petition even though they haven't even had their oral argument before the Fourth Circuit yet, arguing that their case should be heard alongside the In re Tam case before the Court because it involves the same issues, citing Brown v. Board of Education and Bolling v. Sharpe as precedent. This is a remarkable display of irony or onions, or perhaps both.
ReplyDelete"Oral Argument" would be a great adult film title.
ReplyDeleteWith exception of the occasional snipe hook he was hitting 3wood and driver pretty well, some better than others. But yes he had several 300 and a couple w the 3wood. Or "3metal" as my boy Johnny Miller calls it. I will do a post about the experience.
ReplyDeleteMy oral argument isn't as persuasive as it used to be, or maybe it's just a wifely prerogative.
ReplyDeleteOther than the food poisoning / stomach bug last night was awesome. Traveling w said issue (not going home)- I'd prefer almost anything else. Oh vey. No crop dusting today boy.
ReplyDeleteFinally, some justice for the 96. Tragic story.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm biased, but I'm still super bummed out for CP3.
ReplyDeleteAs an NBA fan I don't know how you can't be bummed about Paul being done for the playoffs. He was brilliant to start last night's game. The Clippers are done without him.
ReplyDeleteIf you were curious to my whereabouts, still in airport I arrived at 7+ hours ago. All good. Nothing to see here. Keep it moving.
ReplyDeletei got upgraded to business class in this hotel. near as i can tell, the only benefit is a mirror in the bathroom that enables you to see your junk while you piss. so, bonus?
ReplyDeleteSo a business class bathroom also comes with a magnifying glass?
ReplyDeleteit's the little things, teej
ReplyDeleteThe family used points to stay at the St Regis in DC over winter. There was a mirror TV in the bathroom and it blew my kids' minds.
ReplyDeleteDonald looking extra Oompa Loompa-ish tonight. Christie and his wife seem to have rebounded from his night of partying w/ Springsteen in Brooklyn last night.
got ugly fast in atlanta. like clarence in '94.
ReplyDeleteHi G's. Almost home
