Two for Tuesday
Big day today. Apparently, it is National Black Cat Day, proving that people will make up a day for no reason whatsoever. The 2015-16 NBA season also tips off tonight, so I did my best internetting and found this gem of an image. Enjoy:
The ESPN "experts" take the Royals in most every selection. I'm comforted in the fact that about 15% of them had the Mets even getting out of the first round.
Jon Sciambi (W&M 1988-1989 and then bolted) takes the Mets in six. Attaboy.
This was my favorite Test episode so far because at the beginning you were clearly terrified that you would get the lowest score and that the ladies would mock your lack of astronomical skills, so rather than accept the possibility that there is something about which you are not expert you whinged and wailed that the subject matter was stupid. Halfway through you realized you weren't completely flailing and ultimately you happily self-graded yourself to a B+. Classic Dave.
Nice work by the doofus overlord.
ReplyDeletestrong labeling, too
ReplyDeleteWe could've added a photo of old pro wrestler Ernie "Big Cat" Ladd here. The pic would show why it makes sense to include him.
ReplyDeleteWilt isn't much of a chess player, he has no king.
ReplyDeleteHe is the king. Duh. Or at least his johnson is.
ReplyDeleteHence all the pussy in the photo.
ReplyDeletetook six comments before we got that joke...thank you, zman, for finally delivering the goods
ReplyDeletethey should have put some white cats and tabby cats in there as well, to reflect the breadth of wilt's philandering.
ReplyDeletewhat did you search to find that?
abby wambach retired today. godspeed, badass.
ReplyDeleteAnd Vad Lee out for season. Dagger.
ReplyDeleteThat Wilt picture should be followed by this video.
ReplyDeletethat vad lee news is awful for jmu. that team had a real shot at a national title with him.

Speaking of made up days, today is National Craft Beer day. I'm sure everyone here supports that one.

ReplyDeletethanks for the copious notes on the test , zman!

ReplyDeleteThat's So Dave.
ReplyDeleteSometime in the 1990s I went from trying in vain to correct and disprove Dave to simply sitting back and enjoying the maddening madness.
