Public Service Announcement

Today is National Hot Dog Day. As a service to our readership, and the public at large, here's a piece that tells you where to find free/cheap dogs all across this fine nation.

    I'll back the Ben's Chili Bowl vote, though I've only been there after bars. Two chili dogs and chili cheese fries. Grape soda.

    The Barking Dog in Hampton, VA and Dog n Burger in Norfolk can compete.

    We have a local hot dog trailer parked at the local supermarket called Snappy Dogs. They had a Don Ho dog earlier this week. Thinly sliced ham, pineapple, banana peppers, red onion, sweet chili sauce with the dog of your choice.
