Remembering a Legend on (what would've been) his 69th Birthday

Manchester United legend George Best passed away in November 2005. He would have turned 69 today. He must've lived a very Austin Powers-esque shagadelic life, being the best soccer player in the UK in the late 60's and early 70's. The quote above seems to suggest he had his priorities right.

Happy birthday big man.

  4. i know "birds" is british slang for chicks (which is american slang for women) but it would be so much better if he liked to drive around drunk with a bunch of macaws.

  8. I really, really enjoy watching Golden Staye play basketball. This is probably my favorite team ever in any sport that I don't have a natural rooting interest in.

  14. Not a lot of drama in today's BPL matches, but pretty cool of NBC to have all ten matches on different NBC-affiliated channels.

I want Newcastle to be demoted, but that means Hull losing to Man U. Conundrum.

  20. The Warriors are endlessly entertaining to watch. They also have great uniforms. One of the few good things Adidas has done during their contract with the NBA.

  29. thought my cousin's graduation bbq would be fairly mundane but they had corn-hole AND can-jam and badminton and washers and ping-pong. all parties should have games, even though no one appreciates how good i am at corn-hole. can-jam reminded of old's obft nose injury. there would be less stress and heart attacks if every weekend was three days long.
