How about this? Danimal's first post evah. Saw this as I was leaving the not-so-polar plunge on 1/1. I did so w/my 4-year old in tow.
"Daddy, why are you taking a picture of that squirrel?"
"Aah son, have you ever seen a nutsack like that before on a squirrel?"
He said he hadn't.
strong - way to step in to solve a problem, danimal.
ReplyDeleteRe: Clarence's question in the last post ... Buffalo could trade for Bill Belichick and I'd be skeptical because whatever they touch turns to shit. I can't get excited about any head coach until I see some results.
ReplyDeleteTrue, but there are the coaches for whom you'd say, "I'm skeptical because every bit of potential turns to shit," and then there are the coaches for whom you'd say, "There is no chance this could possibly work and it's just so obvious to everyone in the world." I think you'd have to put Russ Grimm in the former.
ReplyDeleteDanimal, when Teej gets back from Firenze, he is going to give you a tutorial on how to label a post.
ReplyDeleteGrimm's problem (to me) is that he has the stench of the Cardinals upon him. And the 1991 Redskins.
ReplyDeleteSomeone should just hire Riggo and have fun with 2013.
ReplyDeletesomewhat better heh clar?
ReplyDeleteCiao, Gheorghies...see ya on the flip side
ReplyDeleteAnd use some damn labels, danimal
hulu plus or netflix? both? neither? discuss.
ReplyDeleteApple TV Rob
ReplyDeleteI am doing something at work where something important is described on page 69 of a reference. This allows me to say and write "69" a lot, which results in much giggling and tittering from me and resultant glowering from my colleagues.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Shlara. Apple TV. You can use that to access the other services if needed.
ReplyDeleteHow was everyone's Friday afternoon? I spent that last 3 hour getting my chest tattooed. I am slightly sore...and it's only getting worse over the next couple of days.
i've got an internet-enabled television. wouldn't i have to pay for the apple tv and again for the subscriptions to hulu and netflix?
ReplyDeleteWith that there fancy TV of yours you're probably better of with Hulu plus, IMO. Netflix keeps a ton of their premium shit off line.
ReplyDeleteDanimal- A local RB committed to ND this week. Tarean Folston. I think you might have seen him on an ESPN High School Football broadcast earlier this year. I mentioned that it was on, and I believe you tuned in. Aannnnyway, he's starting in the Under Armor All-American game...in the defensive secondary. He's a stud.
United Airlines can fucking blow me where the Pampers is
ReplyDeleteSaw that Mark but did forget about the game. Thx for reminder....and just in time to see one of the best safeties commit to the Irish. Desperately needed.
ReplyDeleteany w&m commits yet?
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. A bunch.
ReplyDeletefuck yeah. playoffs, baby.
ReplyDeleteSince you are using the 'smart' tv to connect to either, it really depends on what you want to watch. Netflix will get you not the latest TV shows and really old movies. While Hulu+ will get you more current TV shows a day or two after they air. If you have Amazon Prime, Amazon Instant,if available our new tv, is on par but slightly less viewing options than Netflix and is included in your Prime membership. Hulu+ is great for cutting the cord from cable because TV shows show up faster than with Netflix or Amazon Instant.
ReplyDeleteIn the near near future redbox is launching a Netflix like service that will include physical DVD rentals as well as streaming. But they are teaming up with Verizon which is a pretty shitty company. So who knows if the service will be good. But It'll probably cause Netflix to lower their fees.
If you are not using the TV to stream, apple TV is the way to go.
Quincy Doby scored 75 points in a Chinese League game. Just thought Jerry would want to know.
ReplyDeleteDouby, not Doby.
ReplyDeletea well executed option is the prettiest play in football
