I love to rip Fox's baseball coverage as much as the next guy, but they did a great job with the individual shots of each field player's reactions after Lidge's strikeout. Very cool to see Howard, Utley, Rollins, Victorino, the owner, etc. watch the third strike and start freaking out. It was even better b/c the only noise was the field noise. No Buck or McCarver to F it up.
And a nice win by the Knickerbockers tonight to kick off the season. Score wasn't indicative of how much they outplayed the Heat. Promising start, though there was nowhere to go but up.
This is the second time I've seen Delonte gets dunked on in the same arena, first by Lebron when West was a Celtic and now by Powe, who is now a Cav, when West is a Cav. Checkout Amanda
Sure didn't take Greg Oden long to get hurt again, huh?
ReplyDeleteI think Sam Bowie just called Oden to express his sorrow...
ReplyDeleteoden slipped on his way to answer the phone and tore his achilles.
ReplyDelete...and then he fell down and f'ed up his face. Oh wait, it always looks like that.
ReplyDeleteWho has Oden on their fantasy team? TJ?
ReplyDeleteI don't think so...I'm rolling with Ty Thomas and Mehmet Okur at Center.
ReplyDeleteYou can play Thomas at C? I'm pissed. Thats huge.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I'm also throwing Brook Lopez out there nightly.
ReplyDeleteOh god, ESPN was just interviewing Sam Bowie and asking for his thoughts on Greg Oden. Suicides rates in Portland...slowly rising.
ReplyDeleteI really hope the Rays win tonight.
ReplyDeleteI could really care less.
ReplyDeleteBrad Lidge...having Pujols flashbacks...
ReplyDeleteWhat are the chances that Greg sires multiple bastards in Philly tonight?
ReplyDeleteGotta admit, didn't really see the Phillies as World Series champs...ever...
ReplyDeleteGreg and his stripper girlfriend are recreating multiple Boogie Nights scenes tonight.
