Filler for the Filler
Apparently, I have once again managed to post an ancient YouTube clip below, and rather than leave that up all day, I stumbled upon this classic. Well, it's a classic to me at least.
All right. I finally found the tiniest sliver of silver linings. Evan Lloyd is somewhere on the other side of those pearly gates and grinning like a motherfucker. Evel Knievel has indeed died at age 69, and he's coming through the gates to hang out, drink Pabst, and talk motorcycles with Evan. One of the few occasions I wish I were there to see it.
I don't think it's an overstatement to say that was the most embarrassing, humiliating atrocity of a loss the Washington Redskins have ever played. What a slap in the face of the late, great Sean Taylor. I said I was going to give the Skins a free pass today considering the circumstances. I lied.
sad and disappointing on so many levels. until today i thought it would be impossible for snyder to ever justify firing gibbs in his own mind, but now i'm not so sure. waiting to see if someone else ordered the second timeout, which would at least offer some solace, but not much. not much at all.
The prospects of the Fins losing their perfect season legacy to the Pats while claiming the goat season legacy from the Bucs in the same year is quite enjoyable.
Was that Bucs team 0-14 or 0-16? I seem to think it was 14, but I'm not sure.
For once, the Jets can proudly piss on the Fins, although a lot of that urine is the residual piss of the Pats pissing on the Jets. Either way, it sucks worse to be a Fins fan than a Jets fan today. I can take solace in that...
Honestly, just skip this and go read our picks over at the "House.
ReplyDeleteThen watch this...it's less classic to you...

TL Marlin wanted to pass along the sad news that Evel Knievel has died. A true frat guy 'til the end, he passed away at the age of 69.
ReplyDeleteLet's pour some for our homey tonight...

ReplyDeleteWow, so I guess the Dolphins are really that bad after all. 0-16 here they come.

Bucs were 0-14...and QB'd by the old Ball Coach.
