nah. that's a lesson learned for me for next year. i plan to establish relationships with club coaches early so i can call on them if needed, especially for the very best players. keeper 2 won a state championship as a sophomore and stopped a pk in a shootout to send us to regionals last year. she'll be great.
huskies win, 2-0 in the pouring rain. most complete game we played all year. drama on the other side of the bracket. the #4 seed knocked off the #1 seed, meaning that we have to win one more to advance to regionals. home again on thursday against a team we beat twice in the regular season (in two tight matches - are there any other kind for the huskies?) for all the district marbles.
Last day of school around here. My kicked off her summer by skipping school and sleeping until 10:45 because she didn't have any exams. Gotta say, a little jealous.
